Home stretch, and new Mario…

Well, the Easter holiday was quite fun… We took Edie to Columbia, where she met Pepper (our 15-year-old Cocker Spaniel that eats people….), and it went surprisingly well… Otherwise, we mostly chilled at home and visited with family and friends. We hadn’t been there in about two months, so it was good to get back for a change!

…yet now, I’m back at school… My last regular exam is next Thursday, and my comprehensive final is a week later. Then I’m done with taking classes forever! Next year, I can choose to teach “Drugs We Use And Abuse” to the undergrads, which I’ll probably do, but I’ll be on the other side of the desk – a different experience, to be sure…

Anyway, more importantly, Super Paper Mario comes out today, so I’ll be heading to Circuit City to buy it later…and hopefully playing it as much as possible… 😛

  1. So what do you think of it? I’ve beaten the first three chapters… and I’m kinda unimpressed. I think I was hoping for SMB #1 with 3D elements, so I may have just over-hyped myself. It’s good, but it’s not great.

  2. You’re calling my dog fat? I hate you… At least her face isn’t flat like Louie… 😛 Yes, I may make a blog, eventually… Once I get around to it, I’ll probably do a Point/Counterpoint between Edie and Sam… It should be glorious…

    And I like SPM, I think. It isn’t terribly hard, but it’s still fun… I’m only onto Chapter 2 so far, though…should hit 3 and/or 4 over the weekend…

  3. I don’t know how I feel about you teaching a class. Mostly, I think it’s a bad idea. And I hope they nickname you Professor Sassy : )

  4. I don’t know what disturbs me more, the fact that my mother used the phrase “pleasingly plump” or the idea that they named a video game “Super Paper Mario” …what?? seriously?? why? I don’t get it. Why don’t you dumb gamer kidz actually FIND a REAL piece of non-video game paper and do something with it that’s more constructive than staring at a screen and pushing buttons all day long. Plus…a REAL piece of paper costs a whopping cent, while one of these dumb Wii things costs about one squillion times more and are about one squillion times LESS constructive.

ok, I’m done ranting….off to make things look pretty on REAL paper. word.
