Scrambled eggs with peppers and tomatoes from the garden (darn chickens aren’t laying yet, so those are store-bought eggs), rye toast, peaches, and turkey bacon. Wait for lots of repeats of this meal – it’s my go-to hot weather supper.

BLT’s, ham sandwiches, and salads in Columbia these days. Too hot to cook — or, apparently, lay eggs!
