03.07.11 Dinner

Now we’re all caught up! I decided that this week will be SOUP WEEK, in hopes that the weather will warm up soon and we won’t want to eat soup any more until fall….keep your fingers crossed!!

Tortellini soup with Italian sausage and garlic cheese bread made with leftover hamburger buns (I’m classy that way).

  1. Great idea for the hamb buns! Looks really good. Did you just use frozen cheese tortellini?? I’ve seen various tort soup recipes but have never tried one.

    1. They were dried tortellini! They’re generally cheaper than the frozen and are just as good, especially if you’re putting them in soup!

      1. didn’t even know it came dried-I’ll have to look for that. Learned something new!

        1. We had looked around Wal-Mart and couldn’t find it anywhere! Checked frozen and refrigerated. Nothin’. Finally, went back to the pasta section and found a bag of it, so that was all we could do. Turned out alright, though!
